Good Stuff
User: Rob Larsen, Dec 12, 2006
I manage about 550 Treos, so I've worked with my share of cases. This is the one I carry myself. I love the low-profile belt clip. Not only does it work well for attaching to belts and bags, but is unobtrusive enough to allow easy carrying in a coat pocket. It provides good protection, is easy on the draw and doesn't get in the way when you talk on the phone. It also works with egrips which are a must-have for me.
GREAT QUALITY...poor fit.
User: Chris Gonzales, Jun 24, 2007
Pros: Looks Great!
Cons: Poor Fit.
Previously i owned a 600 and i bought the red case. When i received it i was stunned to see what a great case it was, and the fit was just perfect, great leather and detailing with the contrasting stitching. the only gripe i had was that it was a little unstable from the thin clip. i had to take extra precaution when making sudden movements or for instance running across the street, i had to put a hand on it to make sure it didn't jump off into the street. i lost my 600 about a month ago (case and all) so i upgraded to the 755p. i was so excited to order this case for my new treo. When i received the case..i was disappointed to find out the the case was waaaaaay to big for the smaller 755p. There is at least an inch gap on both ends if the phone is placed in the middle of the case. and the strap has about a 2 inch gap from the side of the phone (inside the case) to the peak of the strap when it snapped in place. Its not very comforting knowing that it has that much room to move around, so i am returning it.
Not as Good as It Looks
User: Charles Watson, Jan 19, 2007
Pros: Looks Good
Cons: To much "Gap" & the clip is to thin
Its bigger then it looks in the picture. There is a little extra space on either side when in the case & the clip is short and hard to put on your belt with out having to look. Also, the clip is narrow and I have had other holsters with wider clips & that adds to stability. Not thrilled about this item.
Too big and different than last year's
User: Harold Shin, Mar 29, 2007
I ordered this case because I had ordered (what I thought was) the same case as I had last year (Jan. 2006) for my Treo 700w but this case is a bit different. The case itself is big so my Treo 700p that its swimming around in to (top and bottom but not side to side). The 700w and 700p are pretty similar if not same in size so I don't think thats the issue. The belt clip also swivels which I don't care much about. I personally don't like wearing it upright (digs into my love handles). I called customer service and they said Covertec may (which it obviously did) have come out with a new model and that I could return for credit. I may return this case for a different one. I am bummed because I really like(d) this case.
not for BB Bold 9000
User: A Davies, Dec 11, 2009
This case does not fit the BB Bold 9000 very well. It is very loose. The box also comes with a tag stating that it is made for the Palm and Palm Treo. Apparently, this is a universal case, though.
Another nice but....
User: j dorcich, Jan 12, 2007
Nice case, pretty colors. But the magnetic closure is too weak to trust.
Horrible case
User: Mark M., Jan 2, 2008
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Magnetic catch releases too easily also flips upside down on belt easily
This case is responsible for the destruction of one Treo and damage to several others in my care.

The magnetic clasp is very weak and comes undone very easily, allowing for the Treo to flop out of the case at unexpected times.

The belt clip allows the case to spin around when clipped onto a belt. Often, the thing rotates so that the case is upside down. This is a design flaw. I guess the designers wanted the case to be able to move around a little so that the clip wouldnt fall off your belt, but theres no instance I can think of when it would be desirable for case to flip itself upside down.

The combination of these two design problems has allowed for the following scenario to take place on many occasions: Case flips upside down and magnetic catch releases when I bump it under my coat or whatever, and the Treo falls out of the case. If Im walking at the time, the Treo hits the ground. This happened in a store once, and the Treo fell on a concrete floor and the screen shattered. Its happened in train stations twice and lastly at a truck stop, where I didnt even realize it had fallen out, and thankfully another motorist spotted the Treo and returned it to me. The case has released the Treo when I was sitting down a couple of times, too, and I nearly lost it on a train and another time on a plane. I travel a lot for work and need a reliable case. This is a horrible case for my purposes and Ive given up on it.
Terrible case
User: Mark M., Jan 18, 2008
Pros: Looks good
Cons: Magnetic clasp releases too easily, belt clip spins upside down too easily
After a couple of years of trying to make this case work, Ive abandoned it entirely and am carrying the Treo around in my pocket. Its not great, because I often miss calls, but its better than having the Treo in this case, which I couldnt trust to hold the Treo securely. This case has two key design flaws:

1. The magnetic clasp is very weak. A slight bump causes it to release. Ive had the Treo slip out of the case numerous times because of the clasp.
2. The belt clip allows for the case to rotate 360 degrees. I can think of no instance when it would be desirable for the case to be upside down. This has caused problems many times.

The combination of these two problems has made this scenario a common occurrence:

Case spins to the upside down position and the clasp releases. Treo falls out of the case. If Im standing or walking, the Treo hits the floor/ground. This has happened several times, to the destruction of one Treo 650 and significant damage to two others. If Im sitting, the Treo slips out of the case pretty noiselessly and is subject to being lost. Ive nearly lost it on a train several times like that, and once in a train station.

Im still looking for a good case. This one clearly isnt it.
