Good Stuff
User: Rob Larsen, Nov 7, 2006
If your wanting to hear and be heard, this is the best headset I've found. The secret is in the ear gels. The small one is OK, but the big one really wedges into your ear canal and channels the sound such that you can hear even with a lot of background noise. Much more reliable than any Bluetooth headset at a fraction of the price.
Loud and Clear!
User: San Jose, May 24, 2007
Pros: great volume
Cons: none
Volume is loud and clear. Fits great. Way better than the Plantronics MX150 that I won't use anymore.
Great product!

Pros: never a problem hearing with this, VERY comfortable!, send/end button on boom
Cons: none - unless you want a wireless headset
I never had a problem hearing with this headset. In fact, with the volume all the way down, some people will sound almost too loud in your ear. This is quite different than what you are used to with the headset that comes with the phone. It is so comfortable, I can leave it in all day and sometimes forget it is there. This is the best headset I've ever had for the Treo. It blows away the one that comes with the phone. I tried others that did not have the send/button on it and they were a pain because you always had to grab the phone out of your holster to answer/end the call. You cannot go wrong with this headset if you want the quality of a wired headset.
Great fidelity, turbo button, and durability at a good price.

This is one of the few inexpensive headsets I've used whose sound quality is tough to distinguish from the phone itself. Also, the button on the boom works great with my Sanyo Katana. With the phone closed and in my pocket, you hear the ringer discretely in your ear. To call out, just push the button on the boom to get a prompt for voice-activated auto-dial. Great in the car or while dashing from office to court. Finally, the gadget is really tough, lacking one of those spindly booms that snap or get twisted out of shape, and it doesn't suck your batteries dry or look like ET has invaded your ear, like a blue tooth. You could pay more, but why?
Best I've ever used
User: Rose Hardee, Apr 29, 2007
All the others I have ever purchased stop working after two weeks, but this one has lasted me a year so far.
No good.
User: the m0nk, Oct 9, 2007
You can hear yourself LOUD and CLEAR... Which is a bad thing... otherwise the quality from the other end is nice and loud.

its actually comfortable... really comfortable.

so if you can get over hearing yourself... great...
Disappointing
User: Dan Hrnack, Oct 15, 2007
Pros: lightweight, answer button on boom
Cons: doesnt stay in ear well - diminished volume, plug is not very tight in phone - frequently loses connection complaints from callers about sounding "distant"
Even at $4.95 plus $5.00 shipping - not worth $10. I had much higer hopes. Is there anything out there that stays in the ear well?
Works well for a while...

Pros: Comfortable, Good Sound Quality, Low Cost
Cons: Poor Connection at Jack to Phone
I bought this device about a year ago and was very happy with the comfort, sound quality, and the low price. However, once in a while when I would remove the headset from the Treo my phone would still think that the headset was still plugged in. This resulted in me not being able to hear anyone, nor could anyone hear me. The solution I found to this nuisance problem was to plug the headset back into the phone, then remove it. This would "reset" the jack and I would be able to make normal phone calls again. Recently, though, after numerous attempts throughout the day to plug the headset back into the jack and pull it out to reset it failed, I found myself unable to use my phone, which was very frustrating. The next day it miraculously reset itself on the umpteenth attempt, and I havent dared to try plugging it back in since then. I dont know if this is a defect or a generic problem, but this was my experience with the headset. Please take it as a warning. For $5, though, I am not completely displeased, since I did get a whole year out of it.
Nice design that doesnt hold up
User: Gary Davidson, Jan 30, 2009
Pros: Nice design
Cons: doesnt hold up
I really like the design, low cost and answer/hang up button however I am now on #4 in each case after a time suddenly people couldnt hear me and even touching the pulg hung up the call. It ppeared that it developed a short in the cord near the plug. While it is cheap enough (esp here or through Overstock) to replase it is a pain.
Earpiece that constantly comes off makes it WORTHLESS.
User: Robert Fast, Sep 27, 2008
Pros: Good snug fit on ear. Clear sound.
Cons: Earpiece that constantly comes off makes it WORTHLESS.
Let me repeat it a third time: Earpiece that constantly comes off makes it WORTHLESS.

Major design flaw. The rubber earpiece (without which you cannot hear a THING from the speaker) comes off all the time as I take the phone out of my pocket. Ive gone through at least three ear pieces and have had enough frustration of receiving a phone call, going to answer it, only to find the earpiece is gone, who knows where.

This is one consumer that wont be buying a Jabra product again.
