It certainly does seem to snap onto the Pre securely. But it attaches so tightly that I couldnt pry it off with anything other than a screwdriver. Now Ive got several ugly scratches on my brand new phone! Theres no way to replace the battery without removing this cover.
I also found it challenging to use the touchscreen while the cover was on. Its so bulky that it gets in the way of even my little girly fingers.
The main reason I wanted to get a cover was to make the slick Pre surfaces easier to hang on to. This plastic cover is just as slick. But it looks like it would provide some protection against scratches and dings if I were to drop the phone.
Im sending this back as unusable.
Screen doesnt light back up

VERY poor design
The way the face plate is designed is very poor. When ever you make or receive a call, the phone doesnt know when youve hung up or removed the phone from your face. So the screen never lights back up. We have to remove the face plate after EVERY call.
