you have to mount your sd card before your pc will see it as a drive, it is the same if you plug it in directly with a usb cable

I bought one to see how well it worked connected to my home office computer and when it worked perfectly, I bought two more: one for my company office and one for the bedroom where it doubles as a photo slide show and alarm clock. All three of mine charge the phone and perform all the other advertised functions perfectly.
