These are great!
User: j radford, Jan 28, 2007
These headphones are the best! I have a 700p and I LOVE them! Great for working out at the gym! They are really comfy and the clip stops the earphones from coming out!
Sorry for the delay, Cust Service 10 stars!!!!!!
User: Steve Burke, Feb 4, 2007
Pros: function with 700p
Cons: bass poor, not comfortable
First I have to say how impressed I was with Treonauts customer service response when I reported my no sound issue with first set I received. They were super duper.

When I received my replacement set, they indeed did work. However, the bass was dissappointing and the fit less than ideal. The y-split in the wire (to left and right earbuds), is too short and I cannot find a position that allows me to turn my head and not pull on one side or the other.

Also, I cannot find any indication on the earbuds as to which is right or left.

Once again though, CUSTOMER SERVICE was fantastic!!!!!!
No better solution

I have had several pairs. They work well when they work, but they break often. i wish there was a higher quality option.
Very poor build quality
User: Dr Edwardo, Jan 24, 2007
Pros: Sound is good. volume control
Cons: not even close to sound isolating, Very poor quality, Stopped working in 6 months
Sound is good when there is no wind. Can barely hear anything if it is windy. Even when properly fitted all I heard was wind. This is not sound isolating!

Being able to control volume in line is very nice, but ...

the build quality of these headphones is attrocious!

6 months after purchase, the base of one of the earbuds cracked. The other bud stopped working completely.

CRAP.

Will definitely not buy again.
Pricey for durability
User: Ross DeValois, Jan 26, 2007
Pros: Good sound for music
Cons: don't last long
Sound quality good for music and voice. Mic ok if pinned high, close to mouth. the ear sleeves are easy to lose w/hat while skiing. Wiring doesn't hold up to normal use. Failed after 10 or 15 day's compared to apple in ear headphones still going strong after 5 *years* use.
Dont throught away ear pieces .
User: Carlo Chirinos, Aug 28, 2007
Pros: Sounds good ,good product But
Cons: The ear phone keeps falling out of ear.
A good prouduct but earphone keeps falling out of the ear. For $60. I think it should not happen and it is a little bit pricey too. I had to call the manufactor to to send me a replacement ear piece which was an other $10. For a tottal of $70. spent.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Pros: pin mic, retractable wire and volume control
Cons: POOR SOUND QUALITY, very, very delicate, poor mic volume
I cannot believe that Seidio asks so much for such poor headphones. I mean, its granted that you cannot find any other 2.5mm headphones out there that have the many features as these, however the features seem to come at a cost to quality! I was absolutely floored when I listened to music throught for the first time...although they are advertised as stereo......its a very narrow stereo field (and yes they were fully plugged into my Treo). I previously owned another pair of Seidio headphones which were the over ear design, they too had the mic, volume control and retractable wire....they were about $20 cheaper and sounded 20x better! The only reason I upgraded (or so I thought) is because I lost my over ear design...what a bummer! Seidio, thanks for the features, but before you ask premium price, you need to step your quality up big time!!
These earphones really suck!!!
User: mike cin, Aug 24, 2007
Pros: Poor sound quality, retractable mechanism too heavy, very poor build quality.
Cons: small, attractive
They truly suck, do not even think of buying one. Seriously.
Great Style - No Quality
User: Paul Schillinger, Aug 30, 2007
Pros: The cable reel is handy
Cons: Poor sound and product quality, cable shorted out
I like the convenience of the cable reel. But, like others have found, my set has also developed a short in the cable at the point where the cable meets the top of the plug. If I move the cable to just the right position, I get sound again. Its a BUST! Never again.
They don't work with Treo 700p
User: Steve Burke, Dec 15, 2006
Pros: none for me
Cons: no sound
Paid overnite fees to get my hands on these and was bitterly disappointed when NO sound, zero, nada came out of the ear buds. I got excited when I found the volume control thinking 'a ha', but that wasn't it.

The $6 stereo adapter DOES work with regular 3.5 stereo headphones (no mic).

Are mine defective? Does anybody have these and use with 700p?

Quick failure of this headphone!
User: Matthew Riehl, Dec 30, 2006
After very little use, the volume control knob failed resulting in audio to only ear bud. Considering the small amount of use prior to this failure, I'll never buy another Seidio product again.
GSM buzz for the person you're talking to
User: karla robertson, Jan 13, 2007
Pros: nice in ear design
Cons: GSM buzz for the person you're talking to, microphone is too low
Beware! This headset creates GSM buzz not for you but for the person you are talking to. most of the time, you won't even hear it. Besides that, they are nice. Definitely feel very cheap, but the earbuds are comfortable. the microphone is too low. it would be nice if it was just 6 or 7 inches from the left or right earbud. do not buy if anyone you talk to is on the GSM network. Too bad.
Three out of three failures
User: John H., Jan 18, 2007
Pros: Comfortable fit, conveniently retractible
Cons: Poor quality, limited warranty
I ordered several of these headsets, and all three have now failed. The problem seems to be the 90-degree joint that plugs into the Treo--after normal use, the wiring works its way loose and one or both of the earpieces cease to function. A third failed simply when pressure was applied to the same joint, and now there is almost no audio. Seidio has a more limited warranty with anything retractible (90 days, instead of their normal 180) and since these headsets all failed just outside of the warranty I'm stuck with a worthless product. As a result, I do not recommend anyone purchase from Seidio.
Broke after 1 weeks use
User: Craig Klein, Jan 29, 2007
I purchased this product and it broke within 1 week of use. I will be looking for a better choice.
Works great......... for a week
User: Guru J, May 7, 2007
Pros: excellent design & sound, features work great
Cons: worked for about 9 days then a short in the plug killed it.
I was very impressed at first use. I had to modify the ear isolater as it kept popping out. I threw on some jabra earbuds and it was better then new!

I loved until the hard area where the plug meets the wire got ruined. (I only know this as thats the area I have to move to here anything.)

I wish I could rate it higher but if it works for less then 10 days it is junk.... period......

Did I mention my second one did the same thing in 6 days...

I'm not hard on them and my previous junky sounding hybrids have worked for 2 years now.

Seidio go back to the drawing board!
Poor sound
User: Neil Richardson, Dec 6, 2007
Pros: fits well into ear
Cons: the sound is awful
I bought this headset hoping it would stay in my ears while jogging. But I was completely disappointed in the sound quality (tinny). I returned it.

Treonaut handled the return very well.
Returned for Refund
User: Jamie Danford, Jan 17, 2008
Pros: Retractable Cord
Cons: Ear Bud & Microphone Operation
I received this as a gift from my wife for my birthday. After one use, I had to return them for a refund. Only one earbud would work when it is fully plugged in to my 700p. I had to pull the plug out a little to get both earbuds to work, but then the connection is sensitive to movement. The microphone worked sporadically and if I adjusted the plug to get the microphone to work, my call was dropped. This headphone set was disappointing and I would not recommend purchasing them.
broke after 2 weeks of use
User: Julie Radford, May 21, 2008
Pros: fit of bud in ear
Cons: broke
Treo Central knows this product is poorly designed. Do not buy it. I got it as a gift and after two weeks it broke. By the time I got around to trying to send it back, both treo central and the manufacturer both said my date to return it (something like one month) had passed a day before. This product is not worth the $50 they ask for. It is a cool design and idea but poorly put together. Treo Central needs to take this off of their shelves.
