Aesthetics, grip, and protection.

Im very protective of my Pre. I love to use it frequently, but the look of the extended battery door on the Pre wasnt my favorite. Dont get me wrong-the matte finish is nice, it snaps into place perfectly, and the speaker/camera cutouts do not interfere with their respective components... But the battery door looks VERY OBVIOUSLY like a large, unnatural piece added to the phone. This Seidio case hugs the curves of the door and conceals the joint between the door and the Pre, making it one seamless unit. It still looks a little big, of course, but this really makes the thicker Pre look sleeker and uniform. The plate that attaches to the screen seals the deal, bringing the soft touch look and feel all around. It was easy to install-4 tabs per plate. I had to adjust my screen skin once, so I had to take the front plate off. It was easy to remove, but be careful as the tabs feel they are the most fragile part of the plates.
next, whatever material this is made of, it feels flexible enough to bend a bit and not just snap, but strong enogh to take a hit for sure. The rubbery grip is (in my opinion) far superior to the piano black of the original backplate and doesnt fingerprint like crazy, again adding to the aesthetic value. Ive yet to drop my phone, so hopefully Ill never have to find out just how much this case can handle.
Only two flaws--tabs may be a bit fragile, but they provide a secure lock if treated properly. They dont appear to impede the slide function either. Next, the phone cannot slide open if it is plugged in to the charger, so make sure youlre done with your work before charging.
Im using this case in conjunction with a Skinomi screen protector (another phenomenal product) and the two fit together almost perfectly. I would highly recommend this case (with the Skinomi screen guard) for a fully armored phone.
Better than expected...

Pros:
Fit, finish, styelish, covers front and back of phone
Cons:
Works with touchstone, but reduces magnetic hold.
Overall I am very happy with this case. It fits well, looks great and servces its purpose. Prior to getting this case I was still carrying my Pre in the suede case to prevent damage.
The only issue Ive had so far is when charging on the Touchstone. Getting the phone to rest in the right spot when charging is a bit more challenging than it was without the case, but I have had no problem getting it to charge. The bigger issue occurs if you have the phone set to vibrate, since the case affects the hold of the magnet in the touchstone. Sometimes the phone will slide due to the vibrating and it will keep switching in and out of charge mode.
Easy to attach - difficult to keep on.

Pros:
Very easy to attach to your Palm Pre.
Cons:
Difficult to keep on, even in light-use situations.
I received the product and subsequently executed the simple instructions to apply it to my phone. Then I went to work to bartend.
Within two hours in my pocket, the case began popping off. After four reapplications, I was fed up and stopped trying to pop it back on.
Unfortunately, this product is on its way back to the store.
