Just received this in the mail today and checked usage (how I use the phone) Fits snuggly in the OEM holster, fits in the OEM charging pod, does not however work with the OEM silicon skin (I expected that) is a little heavier but definitely feels more substantial in the hand. To anyone considering this for the extended battery life go for it, you wont find cause to look back.

I received this battery 2 days ago (Thanks again Crackberry for the super-fast shipping) and gave it the recommended 8 hours of charge before normal use. Now 36 hours later, as I check my Tour (Running 5.0.0.419 fyi) and it shows 75 battery remaining. What an outstanding improvement! Once upon a time I used the OEM battery and had to charge it every night lest it die early the next day. This battery stands to give me 3-4 24hr periods without a charge no more stack of OEM spare batteries in my bag!!
All that being said, Im still disappointed in the battery door for the Tour. Im not sure if this is a Seidio issue as much as a RIM issue but it still feels flimsy. While the Seidio back fits snug and doesnt move around, it isnt the quality Ive come to expect with the Storm 1 & 2 battery doors.
Regardless, if youre looking for a way to extend the battery life on your Tour, this is a must have accessory. Make sure to Google "Crackberry discount" as Crackberry tends to run some sort of discount code which gives a percentage off the order mine was 16 which made 2-day shipping free. Great job Seidio!

This battery hould have been in the phone as standard equipement. the original battery for a regualr user is the pits. I put this new battery in, charged it. and it ran for 2 days with full usage, emails, web, map program. the next weekend went to Vegas, on Friday, didnt charge it till Sunday Morning, the new cover fits better than OE. It is still slim enough to fit in the pocket. Of course Crackberry delivered as advertised. Exceeded expectations!

Battery door is a bit of a disappointment
When I had my 8330 curve I bought an extended life battery for it but it didnt seem to have as much life between charges as this battery. I believe I will always own blackberries but before I select which one to purchase I will first check to make sure that you offer an extended life battery for it.I cant say enough about this particular one. It is AWESOME.

WOW!! Got this and charged it up for 8h as instructed. Full charge lasts around 3-4 days for me (Im not a heavy internet or mp3 user) then charges up overnight. As some complain, I like the extra weight & thickness. It feels more secure in my hands. My only complaint would be the arm to remove the new battery door. Unless you have longer nails it is much more difficult to lift up the release to unlatch the door than the original. Definite plus is that it fits the Seidio "screen in" phone holder. Everyone asks where I got this great product! Maybe Ill get another one as a backup...
