Great case for the active user!
User: Nick Stanfa, Aug 14, 2007
Pros:
access to entire phone, good looks
Cons:
earphone jack is hard to access
I love everything about this case! I use it when jogging, working out, mowing the grass, etc. I have tried many & this is my favorite for the active lifestyle. My only complaint is that the earphone jack is hard to access once the phone is in the case. It is not impossible...just not as easy as some of the other cases.
I still recommend this case! It is a must have for the active person who wants to listen to music.
Very Good Overall, But With Slight Modifications

Pros:
Great Idea Velcro Strap is Easy/Appropriate Fastener
Cons:
Weak Construction
Use it during workouts in the gym. When Im riding the stationary bike, its secured around by upper arm/bicep area. When lifting weights, I strap it on just below my knee. Either place works perfectly fine with my bluetooth headset when using Softicks Audio Gateway software (http://www.softick.com/bluetooth-audio/index.php?page=4&new_lang=en).
My only complaint is the crappy construction of the case. I solved this problem by sewing over all the weeker joints and heavy stress points on the case. Since then, Ive been exceedingly pleased with the case.
If your active and dont mind doing a bit of sewing, this case will suit you perfectly.
decent case but drawbacks

Pros:
lightweight
Cons:
armband a little small, can't use skinned case inside it
I recently bought the Treo 700 WX and this case to use at the gym. It would be a better case if the armband were longer/bigger and had a more secure way of latching. The velcro came apart on me, dropping the case and phone. Also wanted to have a more adjustable case so that if my Treo had a skin or other more permanent case, it would fit inside as removing a more permanent case to use this one is problematic.
ActiveLife Workout Case

Pros:
Plastic cover over face and keys, arm band
Cons:
Arm band cuts off circulation or is too loose, hard to use
I really wanted a sweat-resistant, sturdy and secure case for my Treo while I was riding my horse and working around the barn. This case is secure if you can get the strap tight enough; maybe my biceps are too small, but the strap would barely fit at the edge of the velcro. And then if it's tight enough to not wiggle, it cuts off your circulation. If you don't have an earpiece or blue tooth, it's virtually impossibe to actually answer the phone if it rings, because you either have to take the strap off your arm, or worm the Treo out of the case, where it fits quite tightly (I have a 700W). The last time I wore the case, I was trying to get the velcro off mt arm to answer the phone and I ripped the stitches that attached the case to the armband. I gave the case a 2-star rating; it's a good idea, but maybe the armband could be padded a little better? I can't think of a way to improve the accessability without a completely different design.
