Pros:
Works well as a stylus
Cons:
Pen cap does not stay on and it fits too tightly
When I first tried to put this into my Treo 700w I noticed that the fit was VERY snug. It was almost too tight to fit in all the way. The second thing I noticed is that when you try to get the stylus out of the phone, the cap just comes off, leaving the rest of the stylus in the phone!!! They should improve this design by making the pen cap screw on and off, like the other end of the stylus does (?!?)
I liked the idea of having a pen in my stylus, but after using it Im just going to carry a pen in my pocket and use a regular stylus.
top breaks off easily

Unlike the palm solid and pen styli these smartphone experts stylii have the pen under the top tip and this rapidly becomes stripped meaning that after a few uses of the pen, when you attempt to take the stylus out the tip comes off and leaves your stylus in the handset.
two reviewers (using the same language and possibly the same reviewer) of the palm brand pen stylus attributed this problem to the palm but in fact the top tip does not come off the palm stylus at all. thye seem to have bought the smartphones experts one where this is a known problem (see forums) and mixed up which they actually bought.
