Good for drops, bad for finish
User: Seth Dunham, Jun 25, 2007
Pros:
Good protection against drops, shows off Treo
Cons:
Scratches treo, fills with dust/debris easily
I have had this case about six months. Originally I was quite happy with it - hold Treo securely and great protection from drops and tosses. I didn't like the "openess" of the edges as it tends to collect dust & debris if you carry it in your pocket, which is really all you can do since there is no belt clip. Last, do not get this case if you want to keep your Treo looking shiny and new. This case will scratch the heck out of the finish from all the trapped dust, etc. Getting the phone in and out the case though, is a snap. Some good, some bad. Just depends on what is important to you.
Really want to like it...but.

Pros:
Looks great. Good fit. Extra cover++
Cons:
Plastic too thin at corners.
Really wanted to like this case. Rubberized finish looks good and helps keep it from slipping out of your hand. The clear cover for keyboard is cool too. Unfortunately after having it 3 days it develops cracks in the upper left and lower right corner. This is not after any abuse but simply taking it in and out of my bag to use it. It seems, in an effort to keep it as small as possible, the plastic is too thin. This is the second brand of hard case Ive tried with similar results. The other was the Seido rubberized case. It lasted 1 day before it wouldnt stay together. Now going to try the Smartphone Experts LH7 Leather case. I hope I have better luck.
Poor Quality Plastic

I found this product a very poor investment. Within having it for an hour, after removing the cover to access the screen, one of the clipping-corners chipped off. By the fifth day, the actual shell had cracked completely, after at most putting the device in and out of my chest pocket. Upon removing my phone from the case, I noticed scratches from the case on the plastic just below the main speaker. I was very disappointed in this product overall.
broke in 1 week
User: Lanny Blue, Jul 10, 2008
Pros:
Seemed solid out of the box
Cons:
Broke down seem after one week
The SliderCase looked, at first, like a fine case solution: protective, light, not bulky, allowed complete access to the front, side, and top buttons, while securely holding the phone, even when turned upside down.
Then it split down the side and that was that.
Big Disappointment

Like Chris I too wanted to like this case but within a few days of light use mine was broken as well. As he pointed out the case is too thin and not robust enough to hang in there for the long haul. I however have had better luck with the Seidio Rubberized case, mine has lasted quite a long time and survived a few short drops to the floor, the upper left latch has failed but the two sections remain together solidly even without it fastening as tight as it should, I liked it enough to buy a back up for the future.
